Highlights of the Weekend!

WOW, so much has happened since last week. I'll start with that amazing Thursday night out at COSTAS! WA HOO!!! Isaac and I, plus 4 of our friends went to Ladies night at Costas where we didn't pay a dime for cover charge! Our buddy bought first (and only for us) round of drinks, which was nice, and then we just danced the night away! Thank you everybody for an awesome night!

Now on to Saturday! Charlee got to have a sleepover with her Auntie Kristi while Isaac and I visited my brother Seth and his wife Fran in Riverside for a movie night! I didn't take any pics, but it was so nice to get out of the house for the night!
We drove home Sunday morning, and then rushed out again to go to a birthday party! Charlee's first friend Rebecca celebrated her 2nd birthday today! The girls had such a great time together! Especially after they brought out Becca's gift from Grandma....a PINK CORVETTE! Both the girls LOVE cars, we couldn't pry them out of it!

After the party, we came home and Isaac fixed the brakes on our truck. Once again, Charlee was right there helping Daddy (and trying to raise the car in Mommy's sandles!) haha it was too cute! We hope you all had an awesome weekend!

Model Contest

I was reading up on my trusty Parents magazines, and I saw they were having a cover model contest! Just for fun, I brought out the camera, dressed Bean up in the cutest outfit I could find, and went outside for a little "photo shoot" . Here's our results!

Crazy Hair Day!

Another fun filled day at VBS! Today was crazy hair day!! Of course we didn't have much time to prepare, so we just did the usuall, random ponytails and every hair clip we could find! We spent the majority of the morning with our friend Kelly, and her group of Kindergardners including her son Harrison. I can't wait to see Pastor Bob and Pastor H get SLIMED tomorrow!

Whoo Hoo Ooo We are wild about GOD! We have been having SO much fun at VBS this week. Today was cowgirl day, and the first day I was active with the camera. Here is a precious moment from picking out our outfits last night. I must say, she's pretty darn tootin' cute as a cowgirl!! Below is Charlee and I with our friend Harrison!

One More For The Good Guys!!

That is what we say when we have the pleasure of helping someone in need! What an amazing and exciting story I have from today! We were waiting for the Cable guy to show up (as you can see they actually did their job today! haha) this young lady knocked on my door, and asked to use our phone. I instantly said ", of course, please come in!" When she sat down, i realized she was sobbing. When I asked what was wrong, she said that her boyfriend was strung out on meth and had just hit her. He locked her out of the house, (a few houses down from us) and refused to let her take their 13 month old daughter! After Isaac and I sat down and talked to her, we made a little plan to get her daughter out of the house. The young lady's best friend came over to help us. She civally went to the house to try and get little Alissia. After the boyfriend firmly denied, we called the police. 4 minutes after i got off the phone with 911, we had a helicopter circling around our houses!! ( It was pretty awesome!) In about 10 minutes, the b/f was handcuffed and the baby was SAFE!!! Thank GOD! After the ambulance came to check out the young lady's hand, and the police were finished the report, we were told the wonderful news that after SIX YEARS of her dealing with the drug abuser, he was going to jail with a felony of domestic violence for spousal abuse!! Since she is his only hope for bail, he aint gettin out to harm them any time soon! After the car drove off, the young lady and her best friend went to the ER for her hand, and we had the pleasure of watching the baby for her for the evening. Charlee and Alissia had a BLAST! Isaac got some wicked cute pictures with our NEW camera!!! This day was quite stressful, but in the end, it was such a joy to see our new friend, united with her un-harmed daughter. Now i know, this is what we are here for. To serve others. In fact, I invited Bre and Alissia to join us at Summer Spectacular tomorrow morning! I hope they get the message that thy're a V-I-P to G-O-D! It felt awesome to be God's little warrior today!

The Lastest News

Time Warner has been a bit of a pain lately with our interent! SO, once again im on my sisters laptop! SO much has happened in the last week. All having to do with Charlee. We'll start with last Saturday. The poor baby tripped on our living room rug, fell and bit into her tongue. She has a nice little "Harry Potter scar" on her tongue, and yes it was a bloddy MESS! We didn't have to go to the hospital though. As a result of this, getting used to the move, and lack of sleeping schedule, she has woken up in the middle of the night screaming and crying every night since her big fall. Last night however, she did a great job sleeping through the night. (YEAH!!!) Next thing, we did go to see her pediatrician Dr.Ramos about the sleeping problem. While we were there we did her 18 month physical to get it out of the way. After quickly taking her head measurment, weight and height, the nurse made a quick copy of her growth chart for me and sent us on our way. It wasen't till I got home that I saw the disturbing news. Her lovely little head grew. Too much. Dr. Ed from Loma Linda said she needed to stay on the 75th percentile line. In 3 months, Charlee jumped from the 75th percentile to the 95th percentile line! I called Loma Linda with the news. They informed me the next morning that Dr. Ed wants us to come back so his Neurologist and Plastic Surgeon can look at her ( he wants a second opinion ). He's also pretty certain he wants a CT Scan done as well. So here we go again! She's still acting just fine. She's such a smart little girl! I am continually praying for her, and our next visit which will be July 7th at 9:30 am. Next topic, still havent gotten a new camera, so im sorry for the lack of pictures! Trust me, it's killing me that I can't take pics of Charlee! She's had some precious moments these past few days! Also, Isaac and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary this last Wednesday! We both had to work, but we found time to get a pizza, and watch a movie together before the day ended. We are going to San Diego tomorrow to get a car, so we're hoping to do a nice dinner then. Home Sweet Home!!

We're All MOVED IN!!!!! We are sooo excited! Now granted, we have a ton of JUNK! SO, that means that our rooms arent all the way finished yet, so here are some pics of the big move, and I PROMISE that I will have pics up of the finished rooms when they are done. (which i hope will be tonight!) Charlee's room is coming together nicely! I'm excited to put up her shelves when i get home! Also, I will have internet as of tomorrow afternoon so i'll be able to blog more often. Hope everyone is doing wonderful!! This is my sister Kristi
