The Mullet is Missing

After 2 and a half years of procrastinating, we FINALLY chopped off the red mullet! That's right. Mommy and Daddy held their breath, and let her cut off those precious curls that were on her head when she was first born :) It is MUCH easier to handle now, and she looks so wicked cute I don't know what else to say! Here's pics of the big milestone!

&hearts: Girl's Day Out &hearts:

Last Wednesday, I had the day off from work. We have been working so hard around here that Charlee hasn't had much fun time lately. So her and I had a girl's day out :) We started off our day by picking up some McDonalds for lunch (which is a treat for her, we don't go there often..) We brought the lunch to the Adams Park in LaQuinta and had a great time stuffing each other's faces with fries and nuggets :) After lunch, we just played and played for a few hours! We both had such a great time since there is much to do at that park :) Afterwards, we went to the Desert Springs Marriott for a boat ride! YES folks, they are open to the public for FREE during certain hours! This was Charlee's first time on a boat, it was so precious! Then after that, we went home and met Daddy for dinner. I can't wait to do this again!

She LOVED talking in these things!

March Silliness

Here are just a few pics from this month. Charlee begged Daddy to make her a sandwich, then she fell asleep with it and didn't take one bite! Then, the hungry Mommy snuck over and enjoyed her yummy snack :) The video below was taken as sort of a spoof of Jack@$$ (the tv show)

We enjoyed a scrumptious dinner at Yard House, and decorated our faces with spoons!

Daddy stop playing with my ears!!!

Mommy and Me, Mother and I

My mom and I attend this little group that my friend Rhea created called, "Mommy and Me, Mother and I". It's a group for older mom's and their daughter's to get together once a month and spend time together. Since most of the mom's and daughter's there don't live together, it's rare that we see each other! So now I see my mom at LEAST once a month if not more :) Here are some pics of our March meeting. We made cookies, drank tea and played BINGO! We had loads of fun! Next month, we get to go to the Mud Pots in Salton Sea which should be fun, and then my Mom and I get to throw the party for May. We are so excited for that since it's Mother's Day month :)

Funny Times

Charlee has done a few cute things lately that I want to document! Last Sunday morning, Isaac and I were relaxing in our room. Charlee woke up and came to our door and started knocking. "Daddy? Daaaaaaddddddy?" Isaac- "Daddy's in Spain" Charlee- "Dadddddy??" Isaac- "Daddy's not here, he's in Spain!" Charlee (changes her mind) "Mommmmyyyy!" Isaac- " Mommy's in Spain with Daddy!" Flustered, she starts walking to her room. En route she says ," Daddy, your on crack!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Guess we really need to watch out!! haha

The other morning, Charlee and I were taking a shower before I had to go to work. She was just standing over the drain. I asked what she was doing and she said ,"I peeing in the tub." Alrightie then, 2 seconds later, she's trying to stand above my feet saying, "I pee on Mama, I pee on Mama!!!" WHHATT?? I don't think so! She really wasn't peeing, but it was just the funniest thing ever!

Some other things, just today, she decided that Retard was a good name for Daddy. "I love you retard, have a good day at work Retard!"
*She's actually just started saying I love you. It's the sweetest things to hear. Even if she doesn't know completely what it means yet.
*If I'm frustrated while driving, she'll say, "Slow down Mommy, just slow down!" Then she'll jump in what I'm saying, "Come On LADY!!" It's pretty funny.
*Now, she always wants to know what we're doing and where we're going. She even knows the names of different places by the looks of the sings, or buildings. If we drive by Del Taco, she'll say, "Mama I want fren fries from El Tacos!" Or if we surprise her at ice cream she'll squeal with delight when she realizes we're sitting in front of Dairy Queen. When we ask her where she wants to go to eat dinner, her first choice is usually Red Robin or Islands. But on occasion, she'll mention Yard House or PF Changs. She's uber smart!
*Now she can officially sing the ENTIRE entrance theme song for Veggie Tales and it's awesome! I'll have to get a video of her and post it.
*Every morning when Daddy goes to work, she'll come crawl in bed with me and sleep in till' about 10:30am. Sometimes she sleeps longer than I do :)

Besides Charlee, Isaac fixed the MR2 and got an A+ on his first math midterm!!! GO BABEUH!!!!! I'm so proud :) I finished the online traffic school we needed to finish, and my taxes are done. Go Me.

Mai Needs a Home

Well I guess it's good thing we didn't have a baby instead! hahaha. Little Mai Mai needs a home. It is just too much having both dogs, and plus we can only have one dog where we are moving. If you know anyone wanting an adorable puppy, let me know :)
