I guess the only big thing going on right now is my promotion!!! Yup! I got the word Saturday night right before my shift, I am starting my training for the main dining room next week and on top of that, they said i have set the standard high for the Bar Server Position, they want me to train those in the future! YIIPPPPEEEEEE!!!!! The other bar server Darlene is also moving up, so there will be new people for me to train here in the next few months. WHAT an answer to prayer!!! Funny thing too, last Wednesday at M2M, I asked the ladies to pray for my patience with my job cause I HATE waiting around for answers. Then that Saturday I get wonderful news. God is GOOD! Isaac has decided to dig deep on how to become a fireman. He's actually going down to the station tomorrow night to find out about voluntering. He really doesnt like his job, so what a relief it would be for my raise in income to take care of bills so he can go to school. That's our goal right now.
I've also been working on Charlee's birthday weekend. So far. so good. Now i'm just praying for all the rest like weather, sickness, and any other "minor setbacks" haha.
Other than that, Charlee is talking up a storm, and we are looking forward to HALLOWEEN!! The little booger is going to be Tinkerbell. So anywhos that's it for now, hope you all have a great week and a safe halloween!

Recently.......
Now that I'm only able to get on the computer about once a week, I have much to talk about.
First, I have to give a big AMEN for the AMMAAAAZING weather!! Oh my goodness, I can't even remember the last time I heard the Air conditioner kick on! We have been keeping our doors open, allowing the fresh air to circulate through the house. I am really excited that the heat is (hopefully) gone, and for the break we're hoping to see on our next electric bill!! :) We had such a great time taking Charlee to the park to release all that energy built up from the summer of captivity! Buggie (our dog) has been enjoying it as well :)
I was pleased to hear that the tickets for the big Drift event that we are going to the weekend of Charlee's birthday, went on sale this morning! I have successfully planned Charlee's birthday weekend, and even have an extra evening to spare to have a small party with her friends and family here in town. I am so thankful that this all has worked out so far. We look forward to the exciting weekend!
With not having a T.V. or a computer now, Isaac and I have had to find alternate ways to keep ourselves entertained without blowing all our money on dining out. The other night, we actually busted out paper and pens and played HANGMAN for almost 3 hours! It was hilarious and really brought back those young love feelings, not having a care in the world. This weekend, we also played Dots, and Tic Tac Toe. ( I kicked his butt......) Last night, we went through our dusty CD collection and played some old tunes. Charlee loves our music and was dancing with us all over the Living Room! I also got a little video of her and Daddy headbanging to some old White Zombie....hahaha that was cute! She's pretty good!
This morning was our 3rd Music Together class and we are thoroughly enjoying it! We sing songs, dance, clap out rhythm patterns, play instruments, etc. My Aunt Nancy introduced us to it, and Charlee's loved it ever since! This morning when she was dancing around to Itsy Bitsy Spider, she actually started headbanging like she did last night with Daddy.....lol :) It has been so awesome being able to spend that time with her, plus our Mom2Mom class we do every Wednesday. She gets to have times through the week to play with friends, which is so important to us.
Speaking of Charlee, boy has these 2's crept on us! I don't know who let the cat out of the bag, but please put her back!! Haha. Daddy has a little potty mouth which she would repeat sometimes (it was actually funny and cute then) but now, she is actually using these bad words in real context on her own. Yeah. It's awesome (NOT) when Daddy tells her to not touch things on the desk and she says, "Daddy, go to hell." Yesterday however, Daddy got a slap in the face. I told her to eat the rest of her food and she said. "F*** You." Isaac had the most stunned look on his face I have never seen. To think that his random words would disrespect me so harshly, hit him like a ton of bricks. He quickly corrected Charlee on her words, and now he has completely quit cursing. He talks like we are at my parents house! But besides that, she has had such a sour disposition lately. Throwing fits over everything. Doesn't want to listen to a word I say, but yet if Daddy speaks up, she listens to him! It must be a Daddy daughter thing I don't know. People say oh it's just a stage, she'll get over it, but it still hurts a little that I look like a babysitter to her. When Isaac is home, he of course backs me up and does not let her get away with not listening to me. So yeah, this too shall pass right??
And my final words for this post. I have been doing a lot of thinking about this and I think i am about 99 percent sure we are going to home school Charlee. For many reasons, but mainly because we feel she is so smart. We want her to work at her own pace academically. We don't want her to have to wait for 25 other kids to get it before she learns something new. I actually have so many plans for her curriculum and decorating a separate room of the house just for her schoolroom! Painting it bright colors, and surrounding her with hands on learning tools and books, and having the time to go on field trips, and vacations, etc. I was homeschooled 3-5th grade. If I had let myself, I could have been in college by Junior Year in high school. I feel like Charlee can reach for the stars if we give her the opportunity to. So yeah something that's been on my heart lately. I know this is long, thanks for hangin in there and we hope you all have a wonderful week!!

FD is a bunch of SLACKERS!!
Just like my friend Holly, I too have been trying to plan my daughter's birthday party for MONTHS! haha! We found out that a huge racing event (the Red Bull World Drifting Championships) is being held on Charlee's birthday this year! Since Charlee looooves cars, especially these drifting events, we think it's only perfect that we celebrate at this amazing event! Problem is, they wont post any INFO!!! I know the dates, and now I know the times, and the place, but there's no schedule, and I just found out today we can start getting tickets on Monday! GEEZ! All my friends keep asking when they can get tickets, my parents keep buggin me about what the plans are and I HATE not having a plan!! haha. I want her day to be just perfect, so i will take all the time i can to plan for it! Unfortunatly, the events are in Long Beach. I would like to do something special with her little friends but i just dont think we can afford allll that plus all the holidays and both Isaac and I's birthdays too! Oi, if money could grow on trees.......ooh well I guess im done blabbing now, I cant wait for Mom2Mom tomorrow :)

Thank GOD it's all ok!! I will post updates on here when i get a comp to play with, In the meantime, you all know my cell # in case you want to get together!! Hope you all have a wonderful week!
