Just seemed like yesterday our old computer went Kaputz. I am STOKED to say I am now on our new computer!! My husband oh so patiently, carefully, and fiscally built us a new computer from the ground up. We bought everything separate, then he put it all together. What a whiz. I would have totally screwed it up! haha. I'm so proud of him, thanks HONEY!!! I am also excited that tonight was my last night of training for the dining room! I am officially a server as of tomorrow night! (Well tonight, technically) I feel truly blessed to be given this opportunity. I pray it will give a positive affect on myself and my family!
On to other exciting things. Ms. Sue just turned 2 YEARS OLD last Saturday! Oh my has the years flown by. She's our world and continues to amaze us every day! We had a fabulous weekend. Friday night was her little family party. I decorated a race track on some cupcakes I had made. They turned out pretty cool! She recieved an abundance of cars toys, this kid is set well beyond Christmas! Saturday morning, The 3 of us, plus 3 of our close friends, hit the road to Long Beach for the Red Bull Drifting World Championships! It was a 2 day event held at the Ports of Long Beach. Literally. We had to take a 10 minute shuttle ride to the track because it was in the middle of the ports. Absolutly beautiful watching them race, surrounded by water, small boats, gorgeous sunsets, etc. We had such a great time! Charlee was so excited to see all the cars, plus she even got to meet some drivers from around the world, re-visit our favorite local drivers, and even sit in one of their cars for a little photo shoot :) It was really cool meeting the youngest pro drifter in the world, from Ireland. James Deane just turned 17 last week!!! Besides that, it was nice to see some of our favorites boys on the podium at the end of Sunday. Saturday night, we got to drive down to Costa Mesa to visit my bother Seth and his wife Fran who cooked us a FABULOUS dinner :) And cooked Charlee a birthday cake :) It was so nice spending the night with them. Thanks again guys! Before we hed home Sunday night we had a little grub at PF Changs, and Charlee showed off her mad cheeter chopstick skills! haha.
We had a blast, and I know Charlee enjoyed every second of it!
