Since Then...

Charlee got her stitches out a few days ago and was such a good girl! She didn't cry or anything, she was very friendly with the nurse and doctor who just absolutly adored her! :) Nana and Pe-Paa ( she can't say Grandpa just yet! haha) came home safe and sound from Canada and had a great time! Their pictures were beautiful and they had many stories to share :) I finally took the video camera out, dusted it off and charged the battery! I dont have any video of Bean since April!! I know Baaaaaaad Momma! So I took video of her saying all her favorite words and phrases and singing her favorite songs! Lately we have been working on MANNERS! I was so sick and tired of her demanding, " BA BA!! JUICE!! NUM NUM! PARK! " Now she says Baba pease? Juice Pease? Yogurt Pease? It's SOOOO CUTE! She uses Please, Thank You, and Your Welcome now in her everyday vocabulary. W're still working on No, thank you, and Excuse Me. I'm so proud of her! Now on to her terrible two side, she's starting to show us when she's mad. Throwing her bottle on the ground, or getting into things she KNOWS she's not allowed to, just to get under our skin if we don't let her watch a movie or something. Everyone says it gets much worse, so im just bracing myself and getting ready to cut those bad habits as soon as the arise! haha. Well, again ive been blogging instead of getting ready for work....hope you all have a safe Labor Weekend :)

Poor Baby!!!

Just this afternoon, Charley had a little fight with a glass conch shell......and lost! She accidentally tipped over some shelves at my parents house, and this big glass shell was on the very top. So when it fell, the shell hit her right on the head. At first I was concerned about all the other figures that had broke, but then Charlee started wailing! She had blood pouring from her head. So of course I freaked out and cleaned her up. She has the little gash in her forehead where her hairline is, and then a nice little pencil hole a little to the right of the gash. It stopped bleeding for a while, but I took her to the doc just to make sure there wasent any glass stuck inside the wound, Turns out Doc said she needed stiches! She was such a trooper during the whole thing. She cried a little when he was putting them in, but the rest of the time, we were playing "This Little Piggy" and talking about how she looked like a pretty princess in her big white sheet! (which was wrapped around to restrain her arms! haha) Im so proud of how well she did today, but i feel so bad that this happened to her :( At least it'll be completely covered by her hair so the scar wont be visable.

Palm Springs Air Museum

This past Saturday, the three of us took my parents to the PS Airport for their 12 day trip to CANADA! This is their 25th Anniversary getaway! WOW!! They were very excited to get out of here for a while. After we dropped them off, we had no plans so we went to the PS Air Museum! We had never been there before and it was really a lot of fun! The whole museum is based on WWII and all but 2 of the planes on display fly! It was pretty cool and Charlee loved seeing all the "panes" and being able to climb in some of them. As a matter of fact, I think Daddy had more fun than she did......haha!

Sick Week

Charlee's pink eye a week ago now turned in to icky diapers and high fevers! WA HOO! It has been such a drag not being able to do anything for the last week! Yesterday was the worst. We took her to Dr.Ramos and her temp was at 104.3! She had a strep test done, she gave us antibiotics for her, and i have to take a stool sample to check for bacteria and parasites. When we got home she was lethargic all evening. Didn't want to eat and barely drank anything! I felt so sad seeing my little girl not like her usuall happy self. However, when she woke this morning, she felt great! She still had a small fever, but she's been running around playing all day. I sure hopes she keeps this up, and takes her meds for Daddy tonight. Of course she wont take anything for me without crying and throwing it all up! haha. This is actually the first time that Charlee's ever been this sick. She has never needed antibiotics for a flu or anything for that matter until her Pink Eye last Sunday. That's pretty good for a toddler! But this is our first time dealing with her being sick. She's not too bad, but boy I can't wait for it to be over! I NEED to get her out of this house!! haha. Well we hope all of you are having a great week!

We woke up Sunday morning expecting to have a nice family day at the Park. However, we woke up to a cutie with one puffy, yucky eye! BUMMER!! So the day was spent going to Urgent Care, getting eye drops, buying every kind of sanitizer we can think of, and renting a movie from Blockbuster since we will now being staying inside. Charlee did AWESOME for the doctor, and for us when we had to put drops in her eyes. This morning, we already saw a huge decrease in the infection, so hopefully it'll be gone by tomorrow??? Please??

On Friday, Charlee and I went to our favorite Park on Adams Street! It was so hot outside, but as you can see, the little water park kept us nice and cool! I love taking Charlee here for her Water fun because I get so nervous around pools. She can't swim, and just wants to get out of her floaty things! After the park, I treated her to a yummy Thin Mint Blizzard from Dairy Queen :) We never get out much, so we had a great time together being outdoors!
