Bean in the Pool!

I am so thankful my sister had her camera! Bean decided to play in the POOL today in her diaper! It was so cute and the pics are ADORABLE! I'm so happy to finally have some updated photos of her!

All Ready to Go!

Just reserved the moving truck, signed the lease a few days ago, and thankfully found the most PERFECT nursery linen set for Charlee yesterday! I think we're just about ready to MOVE!! Of course this event is very exciting, but also stressful as we have to move items from multiple locations (home, storage, etc.) all into one place. All in one day. Please pray for us that we accomplish this move with low stress levels and no injuries. As far as furniture goes, we are still looking for a queen box spring mattress, and a sliding dog door for Buggie. I hope the next time I update this, I will have pics of our new place all done up, and Charlee's beautiful nursery! (That's the thing ive wanted most for Charlee since she was born.) So here we go!!! Onward out of Mom and Dad's (again....haha)!!!

I ♥ Furniture Shopping!

HOW FUN!!! For the last 2 days, Isaac and I have been searching garage sales, thrift stores and the oh so wonderful clearence room at Mathis Brothers for the perfect furniture for our new house! So far, we have almost cleared the list of items that we needed! All for sickingly LOW prices! We are so proud that we found the best bargains around! We are sooooo uber excited for our big moving weekend! The only thing i need now is to find a nice crib linen set for Charlee Bean. Im looking for something yellow, so i can make her a sunflower room but all the stores have just pink and blue! Kinda frustrating but im not giving up! One other thing we're looking for is a queen size box spring for our mattress. So if anyone has an extra, or is selling one, please let me know! I will definitly keep an update on the move :)

Picnic!

I think it was last weekend, we went to a staff appreciation picnic for my job, Ruth's Chris! My awesome friend JP took this adorable pic of Isaac and Bean chillin' under a shady tree! My camera broke, trust me i'd have way more pics on this thing if it was working!

Blessed Morning

Mom2Mom was once again a great way to start off my Wednesday morning! These ladies are just so awesome! I am so thankful that we watched that video clip. It has to be the most precious thing i've ever seen! And to have all that extra time to talk about it, and the "rain" that's going on in our lives, opened us all up to how "not perfect" our lives are. We are only human. Our table got a little emotional on the topic. A few of us are going through some rough rainy spots in our lives, but we were reminded how God is right there with us all the time. He can help.
Our table provided the breakfast this morning and it was YUMMY! We also provided eachother with a good laugh! I just found out today that I get to be a part of the dancing team for Vacation Bible School in a few weeks! Im SUPER excited! My awesome kids (that i babysit) Harrison and Sarah will be so excited! ( they LOVE VBS! ) So in all, this morming has been great! Charlee had a great time in Kid2Kid. As she naps, i must now study all the dance moves and motions for the VBS songs! Ta Ta!

Approved!!

We found out yesterday that we are 100% approved to move in to our house! We will be moving in the weekend of June 1st! We ask for prayer as we make this big step. Isaac and I are trying to be extra careful of what we are doing with the money we have. Signing a year lease is always a tough move for us, not knowing what the future holds. But hey, signing a year lease is way better than buying a house at this point! After a year, we can start over again if we need to without any huge obligations. Also, someone hit our truck while Isaac was driving to work the other day. The man that hit him completely took blame for the accident (thank God!) and we are getting an estimate done on the truck sometime this week. Considering Isaac can fix the damages without having to pay a body shop, we are hoping to save most of the money we recieve from the Insurance company. So we need some prayer on that one too. Other than that, life is peachy! Hope everyone has a great week!

We Found One!

What a great feeling, we found a house yesterday! It's a rental, part of a triplex, in Bermuda Dunes and it's SUPER CUTE! Little 3bed 2 bth with a garage! I'm sooo thankful we looked at a few places before seeing this one! Good things come to those who WAIT!! Now that we've decided to stay here in the valley, we don't need to purchase a car anymore, we're just going to buy a bench seat to put back in our truck, and we're all set! I've been dreaming of how im going to decorate it ALL MORNING! haha. The place should be ready for us by June 1st! WA HOOO!!!!

Cars and Houses

Isaac and I have been debating fooorever on what to do with our situation! What car will we buy? Will we even buy one? Where in the world are we gonna move?Is Isaac gonna go to stunt driving school? And where is allll the money coming from for all this? Well im so thankful that lately things have been coming together. We have started to settle our minds on certain things, which in turn is allowing fewer arguments, and now im able to sleep at night! haha. Hopefully things will start to work out soon for our benefit. In the meantime, we're just trying to get the MR2 fixed! Lovely....

Mother's Day!!

Oh my goodness, I dont think I could have asked for a better mother's day! To start out, I fell asleep on the couch watching a movie the night before, when i woke up, there was a big white bag with a note on it! Isaac went in our room, got Charlee and told us both to sit on the couch. The note practically made me cry! I opened the gift to find some wicked cute white and wooden heels that ive had my eye on for some time, and charlee got me this book i really wanted! With a ducky bookmark that she picked out :) We then decided to dress up and go out to Islands for lunch! YUMMMY! Then after that, we went across the street to Toys R Us and had a ton of fun! Looking at all the toys, driving around in the cars (of course charlee wanted them all!) At the end, we ended up with a really cool kite, charlee's first RC car, and some sand toys. Charlee was wiped out by then so we went home for some R and R and Babeuh and I watched the Transporter. ( one of our favs!) After that, we decided to take all our new toys to the park to play! It was in the evening, so nice outside! Our kite barely flew since there was little wind, so we spent most of the time zipping around with the RC car. A family of turtles swam right up to us in the pond, charlee chased some duckies, and we tried to slide down as many dry slides as possible since there were kids soaking wet sliding down everything. After the park, we treated ourselves to our very favorite COLDSTONE ice cream! The three of us split a Apple Pie ala coldstone. yuuuummmy! Then we went home and put charlee to bed. After that, we noticed that the wind was starting to pick up in our area, so isaac, my sister kristi and I tried out the kite again! Boy was that funny! Kristi almost hit a passing car when the kite came swooping down too quickly! haha. But all in all, we had the best day in the world! I felt so blessed to be a wife and a mommy. Those two really showed me just how much i am appreciated and loved. Just wait till' Father's Day! Boy do i have some plans up my sleeve! I hope everyone had a wonderful day!!!

Car Shopping

I think it's time all three of us got to ride in a car comfortably! ( these 2 2steaters arent working out!) haha Isaac and I have 6 cars lined up tomorrow to go check out! We are very excited! We sometimes get overwhelmed when making hard decisions like these. We analize A LOT which in turn stresses me out! I am praying that we have a good easy day tomorrow. We just put brand new tires on the truck today and we have childcare set up for charlee all day tomorrow. So i've done my best to prepare, I just pray that God opens up some possibilities tomorrow for us. I am pretty determined to come home with a car tomorrow! So here we go, i'll have pics up if we get anything.

Mom2Mom was so great today!

As it is always, Mom2Mom was a truly great place to be this morning! We had another amaaazing speaker come and talk to us about how to be a "fan" of our children and our family. Celebrate the "wins" and grieve the "losses". BE THERE for my daughter. GET OFF my cell phone! haha! You only live life once so do it. CHOOSE LIFE! Live every day as a pure fan of my family. I feel there are a few areas that I can work on. This dumb computer is one thing! Getting my work done at times charlee isnt around is another. I can't put her off to do laundry. I need to do it WITH her, or wait till' she's napping. I feel I can accomplish these! MY GOAL: as of right now is to not be on myspace till' next wednesday! That's 1 whole week. Spend that time with the Charlee Bean instead! Ha, lets see how this works out!

Charlee's Head Results!

So, for all of you that didn't know, Isaac and I had to take Charlee to Loma Linda Children's Hospital yesterday to see the Craniofacial Team regarding her head size. After Dr. Ed examined her, he concluded that she does have a big head, bigger than normal, but it's nothing to be alarmed about for a few reasons. The fontenelles (soft spots) have not hardened all the way just yet, which is a good thing. Her head will continue to mold and grow. Many children have big heads, and their bodies will catch up as the get older. If there was a significant increase in her head size in a short period of time (which we are checking old records to find out) then we will need to go back for a CT Scan to check for fluid levels, swelling, etc. As far as her development goes, Doc said she's above average and she's doing awesome!! He's very proud to see how well she's doing for her age! So overall, we are SO RELIEVED!! Your prayers have worked! Thanks to all who have been there for us during this time! If anything further happends, I will definitly update you all!
