Update

Sunday morning, Isaac and I took us all to IHOP for breakfast. We had such a nice time, but afterwards, he took us to this little horse ranch in Rancho Mirage that I had no idea existed! I guess his Aunt used to take him there to see the horses when he was a kid, so he wanted to take charlee too :) We had so much fun! Charlee LOVED seeing the horses. I don't think she's ever seen one. Silly mommy left the camera at home thinking she wouldn't need it! BUMMER! haha, besides that, our last month's rent is in the mail with our 30 day notice! YEAH!!! I am SO excited to get this move on the go! I'm even more excited for school to be over for Isaac, he's been doing great, but with work and babysitters and all, it all gets very overwhelming. But i'm so proud of him, he's been keeping his good grades and working so hard :) Other than that, I have pics to share, but i'll post them when i'm not so busy. We have a BUSY month coming up. PS- the Mr2 is finally up for sale and we've already had a few calls on it! Definitely a blessing that people are at least calling about it :)

Easter with Domo and Drifting

Happy Easter Everyone!!
Yeah, so story on the weird looking monster guy......apparently, he's a Japanese cartoon character that was hatched from an egg......he's slowly becoming known here in the states. I had no clue who he was, only that a small figure of him was guarding my computer monitor.... but then I ran into Easter Domo at Target and just couldn't resist!

So for the weekend, Isaac took off from work Thursday and Friday to complete our huge task of getting the MR2 ready to sell. He reached his goal, and our precious "Creature" is now up for sale....(tear) On a happy note, Round 1 of Formula Drift Competition Series was yesterday! Of course we bought our tickets 2 months ago and got a nice seat under the judges booth. We had a wonderful time as always, but I feel it went way too fast! After the races, we had a yummy dinner at Islands and then a nice relaxing ride home. We have worked SO hard these past few weeks, it was great to have a day to relax and "watch the cars" as Charlee would say :)

This Morning (Easter Sunday) at GG's house. We had fun dying eggs, going on an easter egg hunt, and just relaxing by the pool :)

Aww...one for the Car, and one for Domo, how cute.......(dork)

Mud Madness

Last Saturday, we had our April "Mommy and Me, Mother and I" gathering! We took a little field trip to the Salton Sea. First stop was Salvation Mountain, Second stop was the Mud Pots. I can't really explain how much fun we had. My mom and I haven't been to either of these places, so this was a real treat for us!

First Stop: Salvation Mountain
From what I know, this homeless man has been painting this same mountain for 25 years. People donate paint and time to help him and his only goal is to tell people that God loves them! His testimony is amazing. He lives right there in the desert, and God provides for him. This man's art has been in National Geographic, "Into the Wild", and on the Discovery Channel. Half the time I felt like I was in the Wizard of Oz, the other I was in Alice in Wonderland! And the whole time I was singing The Beatles.....lol :) One thing I took from this trip was that man's heart. He had such a heart for his work. When we arrived, he wanted to take us on a tour. He was so enthusiastic and excited to show us all that's been done. When we commented on how cool it must be for 40,000 people to see him in the movies, he corrected us. "No, 40,000 people have just seen that GOD is LOVE!" He didn't care about the screen, only his message. And he is willing to live in sheer poverty if that's what it takes. I totally feel as if I need to go through my house and trash some things i really don't need. I need a humble heart, and ATTITUDE of GRATITUDE! ok enough said.......

All you need is love.....du du du dodo

Body Surfing in the "River"

Cute little scooter, also decorated.

Second Stop: Mud Pots
If any of you get the chance to go here, do it. It's amazing what our Earth does. I felt like I was on a different planet or something. My Mom and I had a blast getting knee deep stuck and pulling eachother out of the mud! What an amazing trip :)

This is a perfect BFF picture!

Acts like a volcano, except it's mud, not lava!

Bubbling from beneath the earth......how cool!

This is what happends when you get 2 goofball Gladwells around MUD! They get dirty.....haha

I thought this was really neat

Had to give shout outs to those at home!

Washing off. Surprisingly, the water was cold

Joe, your one fun guy! Hope you had an awesome birthday! Thanks for letting us share it with you, and thanks to KENDA for the last minute babysitting :) Your all the bomb, here are pics of our fun and eventful evening!

* Scratch that Folks, in my attempt to find a few somewhat decent pics to post, I saw there were only like 2. If you want to see pics, go to Isaac's myspace. They are posted there. Have fun!
