Dinner and Scavenger Hunt!

Last night, my best friend Emily invited Isaac and I. and 2 other friends to a HOMEMADE dinner at her family's house. Her Aunt Jane made marinated steak, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and this cool noodle salad! SO YUMMY!! For dessert she made a key lime pie that was out of this world! After dinner, all the friends came back to our house. For some reason, everyone felt like they wanted to be outside actually doing something, rather then staying indoors. At about 10:00pm My friend AJ and I decided to be totally spontaneous and create a scavenger hunt at Wal Mart! We made a list of items (one item from each department) and divided our group into 2 teams. We all met up at the front of the store and then raced through the store collecting our items! First team to the bakery won! When my team got there first, we hid behind some bread rolls. When the other team came running in all happy that they "won" we jumped out and said ,"hey losers!!" You should have seen their faces! AJ literally fell to the floor in agony!! hahaha it was hillarrrrious! I must say, we all felt like kids again. Charlee loved the excitement and loved being up late with the "big kids". When we got back to the house, everyone left and we crashed out. No one could stop saying how much fun they had last night. I think next time we're going to do a digital scavenger hunt during the day at the mall. Each team has a digital camera, and they have to take pictures of specific things including the team members. We used to do this stuff in youth group and we had such a great time. With it being the summer, our friends really love to rekindle those moments where having fun was all that mattered. No responsibilities, just being together and enjoying life. Thanks guys for a GREAT TIME!!

Side Note: Charlee's second Loma Linda appointment is tomorrow morning. We are about 85% sure that they will do a CT Scan on her. I read up on the CT Scan and how they get the children through this process since it involves strapping you down to a moving table! With the younger kids, they give them anesthesia. We are with her the whole time, and have to wait at the hospital until it wears off and she wakes up. With all this in mind, we may have a long day. So please keep us and the doctors in your prayers tomorrow as we face this small challenge. Charlee's never been "knocked out" before, so we are praying she isn't allergic to anything they use. So far, Isaac and I feel great about tomorrow. We have full faith in the doctors that they will do a great job with our little Bean :) Thanks so much to everyone in advance, we will keep ya posted!
